Front license plate bracket. My car just had the bracket, no hardware and not installed by the dealer even though Oregon requires a front license plate.
the install is easy. There are two dimples in the plastic trim which are easiest to see with the frunk open. I just drilled the plastic with a small starter bit and the used two stainless screws to attach the bracket. It integrates well with the front of the vehicle as there is a relief in the trim at the lower edge of the frunk where the bracket fits perfectly.
yeah mine came with it as well installed with 3m double sided tape, no way in hell am i drilling holes in my $70,000 truck.![]()
if you drill where it is marked, and take care not to plunge, you can use screws to install the bracket. If you take the bracket off the screw holes are all but invisible, unless you are entering the truck in a concours event.FYI if you don't want to drill holes, I used 3m double sided foam tape to mount mine. It's been a few months and a month with temps down to the high 20s a bit. Hasn't fallen off yet!
