When will we be able to see Lightnings on dealer showrooms?

It's my understanding that dealer demos or mannequins started production around 3/14. Anyone know when dealers will receive them so we can check them out?

Late April or Early May is my best guess, maybe a few before then.

I already called my dealer to get on a list to take a ride ASAP.

It depends when ford gives the "Okay to Buy" for the trucks. They won't be shipped before that even though they are being produced. This has been confirmed by Pioneer74 who works there

I'm suggesting that while 'dealer' vehicles might be produced seemingly 'first', they will probably be shipped with the first customer retail vehicle... I hope, since mine is the first, if not the only, at my dealer : )

That would give the quality review process enough time to seek & solve mass production problems (if any), so maybe middle of May assuming 3-4 weeks transit time for the first customer builds and demo models going to the dealerships furthest from Detroit.

I talked to my assigned salesman for my Lightning yesterday he said that they've heard Fall is when the will receive their mannequin vehicle lol. These guys are either horribly informed/don't care or we've all been lied too ???

My dealer had a 4/25 build week. Hopefully that means they'll have it in a few weeks.

I sure will. He’s a really good GM. I was in showing him my new hidden winch on my Bronco I had installed down the street at the custom truck store. He then set me up for the Bronco Customer Satisfaction program and I ordered up to a $1000 dollars of accessories from that account. I’m sure he will find out and give me a straight answer if they do offer it.
