They’re asking for a copy of my membership card and an invoice with the date of membership. I just don’t want there to be a problem where they try to deny the discount or something. What specifically are they asking for? If it's a generic X-Plan document, they should be able to get everything they need from Ford.
There are rule checks they are to do at time of purchase. For example, the name associated with the PIN is the name of the buyer or a member of their household. There are others. Maybe they didn't do those rule checks.
The complete X-Plan rules (Dec 2023) can be found here:

It's in their best interest to get approval from Ford. They could lose commissions on your sale, be fined by Ford, or lose the ability to take X-Plan sales. And they are responsible for verifying your eligibility prior to the sale. They’re asking for a copy of my membership card and an invoice with the date of membership. What organization are you a member of that qualified for X-Plan?They’re asking for a copy of my membership card and an invoice with the date of membership. I just don’t want there to be a problem where they try to deny the discount or something.
You signed the AXZD-Plans Pricing Agreement that states:They’re asking for a copy of my membership card and an invoice with the date of membership. I just don’t want there to be a problem where they try to deny the discount or something.

Yup.You signed the AXZD-Plans Pricing Agreement that states:
"Penalties for violation of Plan provisions may Include one or more of the following: termination of Plan privileges, disciplinary action up to and including termination (Ford employee) or requirement that the customer or employee reimburse the Company for the amount of any Dealer commission paid by the Company"
X-Plan limits the documentation fee. Employee pricing likely does not.If a customer would be purchasing a 2024 Lightning today, is the X-Plan or "employee pricing" better than what otherwise could be negotiated?
X-plan also is quite strict on add on shit that’s some of these dealers do.X-Plan limits the documentation fee. Employee pricing likely does not.
Xplan, D Plan etc all have the same limits on Doc Fees. Currently $150. But if you are not purchasing with a valid plan you would not be limited to the cap on doc fees.X-Plan limits the documentation fee. Employee pricing likely does not.
The "employee pricing" offer that Ford is promoting I don't think limits doc fees.Xplan, D Plan etc all have the same limits on Doc Fees. Currently $150. But if you are not purchasing with a valid plan you would not be limited to the cap on doc fees.
Employee pricing (A-Plan) is about 4% less than X-Plan pricing. BUT! when Ford announced Employee pricing for all they at the same time eliminated the huge incentives that were available for plan pricing in March. If a customer would be purchasing a 2024 Lightning today, is the X-Plan or "employee pricing" better than what otherwise could be negotiated?
