I've found I need to stay up late or get up early to manually stop my charging. I'm using the Ford travel charger at home. I've tried setting the One-Time Max Charge Limit to 90% before plugging in as well as after, but it still charges to 100%. I'd like it to charge to 90% each time When I'm home instead of manually limiting it each charge. Any ideas?

Create a location then edit the location and set charge limit to 90%. I created a location and named it Home, then set the limit. Works like a champ.

Make sure you have selected “Use charge settings” and not “Charge when plugged in.” The latter ignores all settings.

Also note the One-Time Max Charge limit relates to when you are plugged into a DCFC, I've used that setting to force stop my EA fast charge activity to 80% rather than the default 90%

Don't mess with that switch when you are AC Basic charging on a mobile or charge station pro, etc

According to the manual, one-time limit is supposed to work on L2 AC charging as well.
If I ever get my truck, I’ll test it. ?

1) Have you verified the setting from post #3?
2) Check your nav and see if the car really thinks it’s home when you’re home.

Make sure on your Ford App you are clicked on “use preferred charge settings”. If you are clicked on “charge when plugged in“ it will charge to 100%.

I'll check that later this week.
Still think the one time switch and the basic home rule though having matching values may be causing OP's problem

@lookout
Once you have finished with the truck, shut off, then turn on to accessory mode, then turn off again, the second round of off will cause the drivers display to show the up coming charging rule to be followed when you plug in. Hopefully you will see your preferred rule and not charge immediately to 100%

Thank you. Will approach my dealer with this - and the long list of other issues. Black screen, clicking sound, chiped paint from dealer (they notated), etc.

I have the same issue and I caught it red handed tonight

“target charge level” being displayed correctly but ignored

Ford F-150 Lightning Charges to 100% despite 1x-max set to 90% 1670400739856

I’ll try using preferred setting next but that will require me to delete my schedule. I had tried this last night after seeing this thread but still had my charge times loaded so it faulted due to some other issues I must be having with the FMC

am I correct in understanding you can’t have both a scheduled charging configuration and a “charge when plugged in” limit as two options to pick between? Seems that way

You chose one or the other below the listed address.

I've noticed that the app lacks details regarding weekend portion of scheduling which you can see in the truck on the Sync Charging screen, for that reason I prefer to make upcoming schedule changes in the truck instead of the app.
