The big question is if it still has 4' clear at the base to load plywood and other sheet products. If so, great but not a huge deal. If not that is a major miss.

Looks like it goes from narrow to wide

But again, this the greatest truck ever with 4WS and a 6 foot bed 🙄

Looks like an 80s-era design. Super ugly. I don't mind an ugly truck if it has good functionality but this remains to be seen and I have many doubts.

That will be the vehicle in "Back To The Future - 202X" :) Perhaps Marty's son will go back in time and prevent Elon from building an ugly truck!

The sloped bed sides are not good. I imagine this truck would likely see a lot of appliances or furniture in the bed (young target audience). Imagine moving a refrigerator. It shouldn't be hard to account for but take a turn with too much speed and watch your new fridge bang off the side. Also getting anything in and out is going to suck. I'm not the tallest, just a bit over 6ft, and I typically load over the side if it's light enough vs pushing in from the tailgate.

It just dawned on me that the truck bed is basically inaccessible via the sides. Only real path to move things in and out are the tailgate. Would definitely be a pain to load and tie things like a normal truck.

I wonder if that sloping design is really providing a clear aero benefit in real life over basic truck usablity

Why would it need that if it has a retractable bed cover?

With the first generation Ridgeline, Honda learned this lesson. It's not there for any aero benefit. It is a side effect of a unibody truck.
