Adding safety strobe functionality to Lightning?

Yes, it will. However the bang-for-your-buck is very very low on that. Those two beacons are garbage. The replacement part for those beacons is $35, which puts it in the Walmart toy light category. SoundOff Signal makes that, and it's special product just for Ford made to be cheap garbage.

Whelen makes an F150 bracket for $325 which you can then mount any light you want on. You can put a Whelen Mini Century 16" bar on there for $328. Literally the same price and you have one of the best and brightest mini bars on the market for literally same price as that SoundOff/Ford piece of shit. If you want the actual brightest minibar, the Whelen Responder LP is a little more. Buy with the amber LEDs and clear lens. It will then also look way better and lower profile than those amber lens pieces of shit.

That looks great. Is there a harness that makes install easy as well? Any chance the control could be in the touchscreen?

The lights all come with around 20ft of wire. Can be ordered with a lighter plug or bare wire for custom switches of your choice. No nothing can controlled through the touch screen.
