Just getting around to this today and hitting my first major hurdle. I know others have mentioned you’ll have to cut the triangle notch out, but tat seems silly to me given that the 3D printed holder can be adjusted.

I would like the option to send the shifter back if I don’t like it. Has anyone found or made a 3D model that accommodates the triangle notch?

I've got a question about the version you installed...did that one ever get made in a color that matches the existing surround (OEM color) without having to paint it? And is it ABS/ASA?

I have the original version (from MM on Etsy) with the space in the front, and would like the version you have with the slight rearward tilt and the open bin in the rear.

Not to my knowledge.

I designed the one I have (drawing/stl posted in thread as well) and I ended up painting mine because the ASA came out grayish and even with 0.1mm layer hight my printer produced some lines so I wanted to sand it down anyway.

The OEM color will be very difficult to match with print only (imho)

Another vote for @PolymerBuilt's cubby! Ordered a PZ1Z-7P155-AM from here and was sent a PZ1Z-7P155-HF which worked perfectly. This is the non-motorized, blue ambient light and "L" button variant from an Escape. Test fit with this 17mm mount while a couple other pieces are in the mail.

Took about 20 minutes going slowly and following @branden YouTube tutorial exactly.

Such a nice improvement over the stock shifter.

To confirm, that version doesn't impede using the work surface, right? Looks great.

My setup as pictured requires twisting the magsafe mount down in order to lay the work surface completely flat.

I recently remixed and printed a PETG-GF version of @mr.Magoo one in my F-150 Lightning (Australian conversion to RHD), and I really love how it turned out, thanks @mr.Magoo !!

I also 3d Printed this MagSafe charger which clips in to the OEM slots on the XLT bin infront of the shifter tub / below the 12" AC controls.
