Ford App v6.2.0 out for iOS & Android

One thing I noticed different from the 5.x version to the 6.x version is the way the Bluetooth controls work. In 5.x the controls were greyed out unless you were within range of your vehicle. In 6.x they are lit up always, but if you click them outside of range it gives you a notification that you are not connected.

Its not a big deal to me, but I did prefer the visual indication in 5.x.

With you on this. It’s annoying to see it fail when I’m like…it’s showing as an option though. Confusing.

it looks like you also have a "Bluetooth Controls" option I don't see on mine.

I wonder if this is different because mine's a '25 vs the '24/'22 you both have, or the trim level (Flash vs Plat/Lariat)

Has anyone gotten their pro power back that has an XLT or Flash trim?

I updated and restarted my app many times but no pro power for me.

Wondering if this is limited to lariat and platinum only.

I have a 25 Platinum and I’ve never had the Pro Power show up on my app. I just downloaded the new iOS and still nada. So I’m not sure why some have access to it from the app and some do not.

Interesting. I just updated the app and no PPO for me either. Force closed the app, nothing. Restarted phone, still nothing.

Im using android and have lost a lot of features. Can't set dep times, can't stop and start charging, no pro power onboard! I just deleted and reinstalled still the same. Any ideas?

Make sure the connected vehicle settings in SYNC have all the consents switched on, if they are actually on, then turn everything off for 10 minutes.

Then switch them all back on, make sure to review all sub-settings under the group!

@Ford Motor Company hey Brian, some people are still reporting that they don’t see the PPOB feature in the Ford app. Is it rolling out or should everyone have access now? If they don’t have it is @TaxmanHog’s solution above the best fix?

i tried this this morning and still no PPO in the app. I actually turned everything off for an hour for good measure. Then I reactivated all SYNC consents.

I hope Ford brings this back for everyone soon!

You , me and anyone else that have virgin configurations (Haven't tweaked my settings via FORSCAN) won't see this, I suspect that Ford is still refining the matter and will update our truck configuration when they're ready to let us see it.
