Setting Charging Limit issues

Back early December my 12volt Auxiliary battery failed and went dead flat on my 2023 Ford Lightning Lariat,I replaced it with a genuine ford replacement, I now have no access on the app or on the vehicle screen to set charging limits , I have deleted all locations and am now unable to add any new locations , the only other thing I have noticed is the vehicle location on the app shows 24 days ago as if it’s lost its location somehow, I can still use the app to lock unlock and set climate etc so the vehicle is receiving app requests and that all works, it’s just it will only charge to 100%, any help or advice will be greatly appreciated

You cannot add a location until you charge there, if only for a minute or two.

Rather than building the new charging scheme with Ford App, try doing it in the truck via the Sync screen.

Hi, I have tried that but it doesn’t recognise it has been charged
Rather than building the new charging scheme with Ford App, try doing it in the truck via the Sync screen.
yes I have tried that but it won’t let you add a new location to set limits

Drive the truck for a while to get the SOC under 100%, when you return to your garage or driveway, plug in and try to build the new scheme immediately.

If that still does not work, I suspect an issue with the GPS reporting on the truck, how is the accuracy of the Ford Navigation mapping? (not google or apple maps)!!

Yes this is possible, go into the settings and disable connected features, then reenable all of them to start with, then dial back any that your sensitive to disclosure, note that some need to be on!!!

I mean, there was an update or change that 'enabled' it for me, for the first few months of ownership it wouldn't let me do this. Then one day I was farting around the app and it let me. Don't know exactly what it was but I can say it seemed to coincide with the update that removed the WAL toggles. Yours being a 2022 I doubt we had the same issue but ya never know.

Are the toggles on the actual sync screen under settings ?

If you mean the vehicle data toggles @TaxmanHog referred to, then yes. I'm not sure if the 2022 locations are different but in the upper left there is an icon that looks like a vehicle 🚘 , tap it, in there look for the data consents. Toggle them off, then back on.

Edit: If you are referring to the WAL toggles, they were also in there but in a different section.

Hello, I have tried all the connection toggles , turned all off and all on not sure where the WAL settings are, I have taken some pictures today of my screen just in case something is obvious to someone to advise.
Alexa also isn’t working either , I have connected the truck to my home wifi but this isn’t making any difference either .
