Owner of a 2025 Lighting Plantium (one of the last made). When starting the truck, I've noticed the Sport mode will remain active from the previous drive but will switch to normal mode at the exact time Android Auto starts. Anyone else notice the same behavior and how to keep Sport mode active without switching modes in Sync?

You cannot keep it active.

You should get a message on the IPC asking if you wish to stay in Sport. Pressing OK will (usually) keep it in Sport.

Many times the Return to Sport Mode prompt is offered and I will select Sport Mode but it will return to Normal Mode around the same time Android Auto loads to Sync. Other times the Sport Mode is already active when starting the truck but will return to Normal Mode. Would be great to keep in Sport Mode and not waste time toggling modes each time the truck is started.

Known bug, it's unrelated to AA. If you accelerate/decelerate, despite what the gauges being in sport suggest, you are in fact, not in sport mode. It seemingly realizes and changes the gauges back. If your truck goes to sleep, 12v gets disconnected are the only known ways to get the return to sport function to work again. Once, maybe twice?

Thank you for the response. If I understand your question, after I manually set to Sport, it stays in place until I restart the vehicle.

It was questioning my own memory, upon a 12v disconnect or a truck nap, return to sport will work once, maybe twice and not work again until the next disconnect or sleep.
