For the last 2 days Ford Pass has been unable to connect to my truck.

Logging out and logging back in did not fix the problem.

Any suggestions?

Update: I noticed my parking sensor alerts were coming from the IPC/dash instead of door speakers. Might be a low 12v battery... Classic...

My Chinesium Bluetooth monitor shows 12.5v overnight. That should be enough?

2025 Lightning with less than 7,000 miles... Already battery problems...

I logged out of the app, cleared only the cache, force stopped the app (Android)
Restarted the app, logged in and connection is fully functional, I do these steps to confirm that the Ford server is working and that my account wasn't locked out by Ford cyber-security. All systems working as expected.

I suspect the 12v might be your issue.

Thanks for the reply. Following your steps outlined above on my Android phone, no changes. So most likely a 12v battery issue...

2025 Lightning with less than 7,000 miles... Come on Ford...

Plugged into Level 2 charger at work. Chinesium battery sensor says charging at 14.01 volts. See if 4 hours on L2 charger can bring 12v back to life.

FYI, Ford App Support told me yesterday there is a known issue affecting Ford App connectivity for some people. An OTA is coming 'soon' to resolve. I did not catch the exact name but TCU2 or SU2 was mentioned.

I have been experiencing intermittent connectivity with the Ford App as well as the inability to change my charge levels for the past 4 weeks or so that is constant.

More info, I did take my truck in to a local dealer and they updated some modules to resolve some DTCs for GWM (U2402) and TCU (U0146) modules, and the loss of connectivity in the Ford App. The dealer did not provide a hard copy of the work ticket so I have no details on what was done. Only the brief description over the phone to tell me the truck was ready.

They did make the issue less intermittent which improved with time for several weeks.

Until last night when I lost connectivity again to the Ford App.

Other things I noticed were :

- The connectivity menu in the truck would not expand
- WiFi menu would not display WiFi networks or connect to WiFi

Both menus would appear to refresh when clicked but would not expand. I need to check to see if this behavior has returned.

Thanks for the info. I did have the parking pawl safety recall update done recently. The mobile tech said it updated several modules as it applied the update/recall. But I am pretty sure Ford Pass worked after that. I will have to check my Sync screen for the menu items you mentioned above.

It does sound like the 12v battery. I had an issue with mine and it was replaced - 2023 23k miles. Then even with the new battery and the extreme cold temps we had this winter I continued to have an issue the with remote start and it turned out I was not driving long enough each day to recharge the 12v. Do you drive infrequently and short distances? I was told to drive for 40 mins and it solved the issue.

Update: Ford Pass randomly started working again. Been on L2 charger for 2 hours. I don't know...

Interesting to read about findings on post #5 & 6, my Sirius/XM has been funky the past few days with non-satellite channels ex. 602 which get a feed via mobile devices won't connect, the error is 'no or slow internet' at the top of the Sirius screen.

But my Ford App access to the truck isn't impacted.

I had the update as well. My DTC codes and Ford App connectivity issues preceded that update so probably not related at least for me. I was hopeful that the right module would be updated and fix those gremlins.

Man that is a lot shorter post than I was expecting lol...

Looks like it charged at 14 volts for 3 hours and then dropped to 13.5 volts for the last hour of L2 charging.

LOL, sometimes I can be brief.

All that up and down - discharge too low - charge too fast - can put a strain on the battery over time and lead to sulfates and/or bulging/venting/electrolyte loss, and battery failure as it gets weaker and weaker.

But there is a two word solution, lol.

I wonder if I should run my 12v battery through a repair cycle on my Noco Genius10?
