The last time i checked my connected services my B.C expired in 2028, I saw this thread and checked ....... what a surprise ! I don't know what changed or happened but im not gonna complain !

‘24 Flash here. Only ever used BC a few times in the 90 day free trial window I got with the truck. Now they’ve put a notification on my app that it would only be $39.99 a month if I come back… lol

Looks like they’re testing the pricing waters with different pricing for different people. And no, I’m like most people here, I’d pay $10/mo at most for it.

22 Lariat built May 2022. Got three years of BC for free, and then got another year for free. Now ford wants $500 per year. Not worth it. @Ford Motor Company This is WAY overpriced.

Mine now says expires in 2030 and will renew for 1 year for $0.

I have a 2022.

I don't use BC a lot, but I do like it and am glad I can keep using it. I wouldn't pay the normal rate for it. Maybe just a month at a time when I have longer road trips.

I just went and checked, no discount for me... But I went to the "other plans" and it had 1 year addition (3yr BC expires Aug 26) for $0! Snagged it! Thanks for the heads up.

@Ford Motor Company not a penny more of my funds until you FIX defects with operation in the model year 2022 trucks.

BTW, if this offer extends us lowly 2022's I'm STILL not compelled, I'll be doing a lot of trailering this summer IF/WHEN the damn rain stops on race days, not a function while trailering, still a waste of money IMHO.

BTW, I do understand and respect the need to be in full control of my truck while trailering, but even some lane keeping functionality would be helpful if not full hands free control.

I agree with you.
I wonder if the issue doesn’t stem from not having sensors on the trailer itself to feed data to the BC module/software.
I could be wrong. Just thinking out loud.

Demand will force Ford's hand to keep lowering, I hope. $15/month or $120 for a year is fair price for what it offers. That's my line in the sand, not until then. I got the one year free extension for my '22, expires next month. I'd give Ford $15 for my July 4th road trip, if only they'd get some common sense and stop asking an absurd price.

I have a 22 also. Always use BC while on the interstates. When I saw what Ford is asking for a yearly subscription, I rather wait for a reasonable offer. Especially when Ford has discontinued the Lightning for now. I am still mad about their decision.

My $ is going toward an openpilot setup, not encouraging Ford to charge too much for problematic products.
