I just revived an e-mail from Ford saying BlueCruise is on sale for $249 per year if purchased by 5/28/26.
considering this as I thought the $499 per year was too much to pay for the technology.
I’m currently using the ankle weight method and it works well but does not change lanes and can be annoying to put on and remove.

$250 a year is still too much. I might be a buyer at $10 a month. It should be free considering each buyer of a BC-capable Lightning has already purchased the hardware. All I got was a lousy 90-day trial. With GM, you get 3 years included if you add Super Cruise to your vehicle.

I got the discount too. No email but I just checked. $24.99 a month until August or $249 for the year. I still think it’s overpriced. I love the feature but I’m just not on the highway enough.

Demand will force Ford's hand to keep lowering, I hope. $15/month or $120 for a year is fair price for what it offers. That's my line in the sand, not until then. I got the one year free extension for my '22, expires next month. I'd give Ford $15 for my July 4th road trip, if only they'd get some common sense and stop asking an absurd price.

@Ford Motor Company not a penny more of my funds until you FIX defects with operation in the model year 2022 trucks.

BTW, if this offer extends us lowly 2022's I'm STILL not compelled, I'll be doing a lot of trailering this summer IF/WHEN the damn rain stops on race days, not a function while trailering, still a waste of money IMHO.

BTW, I do understand and respect the need to be in full control of my truck while trailering, but even some lane keeping functionality would be helpful if not full hands free control.

Wow, I actually qualified for this offer on my 24 Flash! I subbed for the $249/year option because it was at the top end of what I’d be willing to pay and had said as much to Ford in previous surveys.

Pay attention @Ford Motor Company! If you bring BlueCruise prices more in line with reality you’ll get more takers.

BC could be free and it still wouldn't be of any use to me. I'm an hour plus away from the closest BC enabled road. Also, I have to agree with @TaxmanHog , no extra $$$ to Ford until they start sending OTA updates and fixing things like my loss of WAL.

I have the free one year renewal starting in 2027. I love using Blue Cruise...unfortunately it only gets used once or twice a month between April and October. So I would/will only pay the monthly price. I also have the updated version that manages lane changes.

I lost WAL also but I would have turned it off anyway so no loss there

I explicitly do not want WAL or approach unlock, so no idea if I lost it or not.

2. Climate control remote start, if it's cold outside put the heater on, if it's hot outside, put the ac on. That is how it's supposed to work, half the time I get in when it's hot out and the f@#^ing heater is on full blast.

Do you have climate in AUTO? I have never noticed remote climate start in the wrong mode. However when driving I do find that AUTO tends to be more aggressive on turning on the AC than it should. For example, it's 68 degrees outside and overcast, temp setting to 75, and the AC is turned on after a while.

I haven't had this issue so far... But I'll be "f@#^ing" upset if I do get it.
By the end of June the mornings are going to start off with 85+ degrees, 80%+ humidity and a heat index nearing 100 degrees.
