I got a 1 year extension on my 23 expires 12/26 now. I think many of these extension variants were due to how long it took to get out the newer versions. I know I got to version 1.2 before a lot of others for some reason then was stuck there. Then got the next version whiles others were stuck on 1.2, got the offer to extend a year took it then waited and finally got the latest versions... Maybe some that got the multi year extension were stuck on old versions so long Ford made up for their "patients" on being stuck on an old version... I like being the optimist šŸ˜‰

Has anyone out there with a 2025 gotten a free extension? Like, due to filling out a survey or anything like that? I have not with mine….three months was it. There aren’t enough Blue Highways nearby for me to justify paying for the subscription. Doubt I would pay $50mo even if there were!
Nope, I got three months on my ā€˜25 Lariat and that’s it, other than a discount of $30/mo for last November and December.

It’s a real shame. I like the feature, but I don’t drive enough long distance to justify $50/mo for it.

I got the original 3 years on my 2022, then the extra free year promo. Had BC 1.2 since April 2025 and 1.4 end of 2025. My 4th year expires in June and no additional offers (I asked the EAP team).

They are stupid not to do incremental offers to people like me aka $19.95/
mo because I WON'T pay $49.95 but I MIGHT pay $19.95. Ford's choice whether they get 100% of $0.00.

Anyone get Ford to give a year or two free Blue cruise when your app is saying that you need to pay the 495 a year?

No. If you have a 22 or 23, they added a year. Now, they're doing it for 24s also. Then, that's it. With your 2022, you're done.

So, either don't get it, pay $49.95 for a month when you need it, or $495 for the year.

I agree with you. Especially since our window stickers do not state a subscription will be necessary. Give us what ever current blue cruise we have for the life of ownership and charge us for blue cruise updates.

$1,100 (with cables) is more than I would spend for a feature used 2 or 3 times a year (trip), versus paying $50. Intriguing, but it would have to work on any brand vehicle for me to buy it.

If that is all you use it for then I agree. I use it on my local roads all the time. I would much rather pay $1100 once then $600 a year.

This. The fact it works on any road makes it worth it for me. Granted I got mine when they were on sale for ~$800 or so.

You mean you have the comma.ai? If so, how hard was the setup and how does it compare with Ford's system?

Had the 3x for almost a year now and won't go back to BC (and that's even with Ford giving it to me until 2031). Getting my sausage fingers up to plug the cable into the IPMA was the hard part but the install was straight forward. Don't expect it to work out of the box though as it will likely take some tweaking of the settings to your liking.

Sold my 2022 and it had about another year left on it a free Blue Cruise. Bought a new 2025 and it came with three months free. It expires on June 9 and they just offered me $39 a month and a less yearly price. With the points I have added up it’s approximately 170 for the year and change. I’m gonna wait until it expires to see if they’re gonna make me a better offer.. anybody have any Intel on this?
