I asked the deal what they did to the cars when rebuilding it to European specs.
1. Added orange blinkers
2. Ripped out the complete onboard charger system and replaced it with a charger from an E-Transit.

I am not sure what to think about that.

What I really want to know is how do I get a charge port door that I can open and close on the right side of my 2023 Lariat. More storage behind there. Only 2022/23 have the fake fixed door there now.

The parts look to fit well. Maybe the E-transit have the door on the right side?

I think e-transits have the charge port in the front face. But based on your photo there should be a part or parts available to at least get the hinged door for the right side. Interesting.

I think the right-hand charge port is for European vehicles only. It is to facilitate charging while parked on the street.

It's mostly ~230v 50hz in Europe. The etransit can do 3.6kw from a 3 prong outlet, 7kw on one phase and 11kw on 3 phase.

It may be the same hinge, just flipped upside down. And the cover same cover as used on the right side in the US already.

I took off the cover, but no part number behind it on the hinge.

I wonder if that requires some reprogramming to the car... Just thinking of importing one into Finland and would be convenient to be able to use my 11kwh charger I use for my tesla.
