Eh, he used to be really educational. But I’d say in the last 6-8 years he’s really fallen off. Now he’s basically, if it ain’t a Toyota it’s mentality.

Yeah in my younger years when I had to self repair my cars to keep them on the road I found his how-to videos really helpful. Now that I have an EV I have a whole bunch of mechanic tools in the drawers asking me what happened.

I find Scotty to be flamboyant & humorous, he's had some helpful videos in the past.

Note he mentioned his friend is visiting him in Portsmouth RI, there is a compatible Tesla charging station on Aquidneck Island, so for those islanders who my need to venture "Off Island" they can charge up before leaving or coming back.

BTW to OP, this thread is just fine in the Light VS node, carry on.
