183 kW fast charging - fastest I've ever seen

I hit the same iONNA DCFC in Peotone IL going to and coming back from Joliet today. I DCFC a lot, and this is the first time in 3 years / 35k miles that I've cracked the 180 kW mark. Hit 183 (twice) on the first charge, and then 182 on the second charge. This is on a 2023 SR Pro. No preconditioning. The first charge was 39% to 80% (47.4 kWh) in 19 minutes, so average speed of 150 kW. Not bad, particularly compared to how fast my truck charged when new (120 kW max).

I don't record my peak KW rate, but I have seen 185 a couple times. It is nice - even though it doesn't last long.

Yea, they certainly charge much faster now. Most of my DCFC are in 20 minutes or less now.

I still haven't got the 500A OTA
But.....I still have seen 180ish from time to time. I just wish it would stay there longer. My "boost" phase never seems to make it longer than 3-4 minutes.

I drove from Central Florida to the Barber Museum in Birmingham Alabama over last weekend, about 600 miles each way with plenty of Tesla/EA/FPL/etc DCFC stations used. I have a 2023 XLT SR and saw rates near 180 at a Tesla V4 supercharger I used at a Starbucks off I-10 in Lake City, FL area. Never saw anything above 125 (and plenty below that) with one goofy FPL (Florida Power and Light) station in a Park n Ride off I-75 that peaked out at 80 despite saying right on the cabinet saying it could do 350. I watched a Chevy Silverado EV parked right next to me hit 282kw with its onboard cooling fans SCREAMING. When he left, my charge rate didn't move, something going on there.
