I bought used and got nothing free or even a trial. I paid for 2 months using points but the last trip was more aggravating than useful.. I just cancelled the "premium" connectivity, to have Alexa and nothing else not worth the $$$. My phone works way better and cheaper for everyday directions and use, saving my pennies for a comma 4 ...

My 23 expires in Oct 2028 with an additional free year from that point. Oct 2029! I can’t help but wonder what the EV options will look like in 3 years. Hopefully, I will still have this truck or maybe they will bring the BEV back .

'24 Lightning Flash here; leased for about another year. I got one year of BC. Nice on the interstate but what does it really do beyond changing lanes with the turn signal switch? The only thing I really noticed was perhaps a little better lane keep (maybe my imagination) and a little less nagging when you look away than just the standard cruise.

I think what you are asking is what's the difference between BlueCruise and Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering (what you have without a BlueCruise subscription). BlueCruise give you hands free without a 12 second nag to keep your hands on the wheel and as you mentioned the lane changing. In other words, with BlueCruise you have to keep your eyes on the road, but without it you have to apply a little wheel torque every 12 seconds.

every renewal i got was a freebie . MY23 and doesn't expire until Feb 2032.
I probably consider renewing if i have the truck for another 6 years

Same except I didn't buy a comma. 4 more on top of the original 3. I have no idea why. I do use BC so it's much appreciated! Although I wouldn't pay for it at the going rate.

Does anyone know how you get the free 4 year extension? My subscription for my pre-order 22 Lariat ends next month and there is no way I will pay full price compared to buying a comma. I was thinking about calling to complain about the lack of updates and disappointment in the maps hoping for another free year...

The first one I had to "subscribe" at $0. Next time I looked they had tagged on another 2 more. Looked a few months later and they had added another for a total of 7.

I bought a 23 in April 24. My BlueCruise runs through April 2031. So I am getting 7 years free. Every time I saw someone post about a free extension I went and added it.
