Add rain sense on 2025 flash

I had a conversation with Infotainment and they said that rain sense on the 2024/25 is in the works but not ready for sale.
I’m curious if anyone has done the job with the new model year and if so did you need to wire a harness or have they restored the LIN and power to the connector behind the mirror?

I was told the newer stalk with or without the “a” would work but have heard others say no power at the rain sensor connector.

I have a 2025 flash job 2 , bought the sensor from ford , bought the harness from infotainment. Used forscan for programming , everything working fine .

It’s the automatic wipers that sense when there is water on the windshield. Pro, XLT and Flash trims don’t have this feature.

A sensor not properly seated in the mounting point, if you find such snap it back into place.

Besides enabling it in Sync, are you also turning it on at the stalk? Rotating the wiper knob to one of the raindrop icons? Sorry to ask, but one member didn't realize that they still needed to be turned on at the stalk.

This is a great question. My stalk has the automatic printed next to the O on the stalk and I can confirm that it doesn’t work. I’ll have to wait until it rains to try “automatic” in one of the other settings. I know the wipers work when I turn them on to any of the teardrop settings, but I figured that those were all manual. Thanks for the suggestion, not sure why my stalk would have the A on the 0 setting.

A pic of my stalk is below. The symbol with the wiper, rain and A means this is the control for the Automatic wipers. The settings are Off (O), 4 rain sensitivities (1 to 3 drops), constant regular speed (), then constant fast speed(). There is no interval control like other trims.

You can leave them on one of the drops but be prepared to get a wipe every now and then when you start the truck due to grime on the windshield.

My 23 XLT ER with the 312A package has the automatic wipers. That option must have been removed in the 24+ XLT and Flash.
