No, you are not in the running for last place...my truck hasn't shipped yet! @Ford Motor Company closing in on a month since the VERY late built status and not shipped yet? And what was it doing at the Ford Flat Rock assembly plant?

Maybe I am tracking an incorrect VIN, but I see G04287 landing on 8/20?!?

Just to be sure, my vin is 1FTVW1EV3NWG04287. My dealer says he doesn't have it and the gps says it is still at train depot. Does the tracker pull from ford? Could my truck have fallen through the cracks?? Ford thinks delivered but no, not delivered?? Im grasping at straws really.

No, dealer only has the single location. Also dont forget I can see the truck location ~100miles away at the train depot. I will drop by dealer in the morning. Unless you catch my sales guy in person he is pretty much non responsive.

I am measuring FOMOCO production & transportation efficiency, this last stage is fully under the control of the dealership for PDI, but I can see damaged goods being a shared issue, but that is so rare, not something I am trying to track.

I can say my truck is on a train now..CNR doesn't have automated tracking. Since I know the line serving SATX is UP, I'm calling them twice a day.

My truck was 6 days on rail from Dearborn to Dallas. I would think you'd take the same route. Likely add 1 to 2 days to that time.

I made notes and didn't realize they were so cryptic, but mine left Dearborn on July 7 and made it to Salem, IL late on July 10. That is the Interchange and where it gets handed off from CN to UP.

It left the interchange and then headed out to "Industry" - which is what the system calls almost all final destination rail yards it seems. I believe it left Salem on the 11th and arrived in Dallas on the 13th.

I don't have city listings, you can actually find the tracks in Google Maps and make some pretty good guesses at its path.

Use the 1-800-877-5123 UP number for the automated tracking.

When mine left Dearborn there was another rail car or two with other local trucks on them, we were tracking together. Unfortunately, one of the other rail cars had problems and had to be repaired - it was delayed by several days getting to Dallas. The system noted the breakdown and repair.

Once your rail car arrives, keep checking it via the system, it will tell you when it has been unloaded.

Our truck (@LightningMcQueenAlbany is my better half) is off the train and awaiting transit. He called United Road and sounds like tomorrow may be the day it'll be shipped, hopefully.
And there's now another Lightning sitting in Portland coming down as well, so it looks like #1 and #2 to the Ford dealer in Albany are coming at the same time. We better be the first through QC at the dealer!
