Finally got the truck last night. Villa Ford in Orange, CA was great. Our delivery dates literally changed 6 times all moving back or forth a week or two.

I've been driving her since my son and I got her this afternoon. WOW. The truck is FAST. It actually handles way better than I was expecting (despite the bounciness on the highway undulations). She corners way flatter than the 2021 F-150 and Silverado I had as loaners last year. I haven't been able to wipe the grin off my face yet!

Welp, he is home..Picked him up Friday afternoon. It was either continue to enjoy ESPN the Ocho or get my Lightning so of course you know my choice.

Everything was seamless with the dealer. Did all the numbers over the phone and by the time I got to the dealer it was just signing.

I was looking forward to trying the Ford Options for payment but the numbers were horrible so I financed. Felt the trade in offer was fair for my car.

My first EV and my first truck and I love it. I hope the rest of the 5/23 crew get deliveries soon, as well as all others who have been waiting long.

I’m not sure if this matters for your tracking, but I also had the spray in bed liner. I only mention it because I know some people believe it affects delivery, I’m not sure it does, but just in case…..

I'm not tracking that element on my sheet, but we did list it on the auto-trader study, lately I think the "spray in liner" is causing more delays, initially it was not a problem but now seems to be adding an extra 10+ days on top of the regular hold time to get on a out bound train.

First day commuting in the new Lightning. Weeee!!!

2.8mi/kwh for a 50/50 split of highway/city driving, 20 miles total. Highway average speed around 65, surface roads average speed probably 40ish. I was at 3.1 near the end but there’s a few hundred feet of elevation gain in the last few miles. I might see a little better on the way home.

Oof busy day around here. Bros that are still awaiting your trucks, it's bad luck for sure but after the news today it kinda puts our hassles into perspective...

I got the photo of my truck! However I don’t really know if it’s mine. I got antimatter blue but this looks all black. I know AB is pretty dark but there’s a lot of light on the truck and I don’t really see the deep blue. Maybe it’s just me

Heck, it was difficult to tell that my Smoked Quartz wasn't black in the pic that they sent me. The lighting in that room is good for finding paint defects, not for showing off the color.

It is a very dark color. I don't know that I ever posted mine, but I will just for comparison. Also AMB. You need good sun to make this color pop, but when it does it is one of the best. I'd say about 70% of the time it might as well be black, because it truly seems it is.

That’s definitely AMB. It does actually look black in real life depending on Lightning outside. Honestly it’s an amazing color.
