Well… I went ahead and abandoned my Mach E order. The Vapor Blue won out. It made the wife very happy. Basically I went from a 45k car to a 60k car. That’s a big change for someone as cheap as I am but I guess she is worth it.

I had the same thing happen to me! It was the weirdest thing as the EA rep confirmed it was working minutes before me. We tried reboots of the system and someone else plugged in and got it to work as well.

The difference for me was I had another nearby DCFC (non-EA) and I was fortunate enough to get it to work on the first try. I brushed it off as EA at that point and haven’t had a problem since.

Not my favorite day...

Very stressful. It reminds me of my trip at 19F in December from Mobile to home. Roughly 250 miles with only 1 EA charger on my route. I arrived home with 7 miles range left. It took me about 6 1/2 hours. Range sucks at 19F.

Very sorry to hear that @bobrosco . Hopefully it’s a quick fix…

These sorts of things are why I still get nervous when we road trip. No matter how many times we do it or how much research before the trip it’s always the same when pulling up to a charger…

Ok… kWh/acre?… charge speed and curve? What about the occasional drunk ride to the 7/11 for a slurpee? Do they even have a destination charger at 7/11?
