As I understand, if it comes by rail, it probably goes to Baltimore where it's then put on a truck and sent to the appropriate dealer. Baltimore is a giant hub for everything on this coast, I almost talked my wife into getting a kei car shipped to Baltimore's port... She didn't want me to die driving to work though.

Thank you! It was totally my fault, I used the 8 digit number when I filled out that form, not the 4 digit one from the dealer.

As a neurotic update, some dealers near Baltimore received trucks blended AFTER mine, so... maybe some hope?

I am being incredibly, unhealthily nosy, but I think there's a decent chance my truck is "in the area".
No updates from Ford on the tracker since 09/30. It just says "built". Ford chat is unable to provide me any additional information other than what the tracker says, and they note that it makes no sense the tracker says "delivery estimate 9/25".
I started poking around and noticed my dealer received 3 new Lightnings on their lot, up for sale this morning. I checked the window stickers on all of them and the "newest" one had a blend date of 08/31.
I checked the surrounding area (my dealer is a "mega dealer") - basically all the Ford dealers in the area received Lightnings in the past day or so, and several of them have blend dates well after mine, including as late as 09/28. If the factory was still days behind at that point, there's a non-zero chance my truck was part of this grouping to Baltimore and is in the area.

I really need a therapist.

Edit: There are 55 new Lightnings within a 50 mile radius not earmarked for customers. Probably a similar number of therapy offices to look into.

Based on recent reports the 10/11 shipping date may populate overnight.

I don't know if you look at the other build week threads, but "ours" has like 2-3x the number of posts that a lot of them have.
This thread has basically become our own little support group.
