2022 Ford Lightning Lariat ER, 2022 Tesla Model S
Just bought a used 2022 Lightning Lariat ER w/Max Tow package. The truck has 54k miles on it and during my 300+ mile drive home from buying it, I've decided the truck needs some attention in the suspension. Its more bouncy than i would like, it feels like its unable to control it sometimes and you feel the bounce a few times off a single bounce. I didn't notice it when i bought the truck during the test drive, but i noticed it more on the drive home. Also when i parked at EA charger, i noticed the front tires were just slightly cupping/scalloping and in my past this always meant worn shocks. The rears seems to be perfectly fine, but if I'm gonna replace the fronts, ill probably just do front/back together.

I did some searching on the site, but i kept seeing comments about change them to bilstein's with a few mentioning 5100's.

I tried going to the bilstein website, but i didn't see our truck listed in the lookup by vehicle. If someone could assist me i would like to figure out the correct shocks for both front and rear.

I also think my truck has either a slight lift or leveling kit already installed. The dealership service history showed that the truck had a lift/level kit installed by the dealership prior to selling. I tried to call the dealership that was listed as the installing dealership and they just told me the service record had no additional details other than 4.5hrs labor to install lift/leveling kit.

Front Measure's 40.5"
Rear Measure's 41"

Attaching pictures for reference.

I added about 100 pounds of weights to the frunk in the lower area. This really helped with the float.

Probably a spacer lift.

Bilstein 5100s or 6112s should really tightn up the ride and both allow you to retain the lift.

Front shocks are the same as ICE shocks so you can use regular F150 shocks. The rears are different and there are not aftermarket shocks available (but 2018 Front shocks MIGHT work).
