I traded my 2023 lightning in and bought a new leftover lightning with the ssv package. The suspension has higher rate springs, stiffer valved shocks and larger sway bars. The truck feels like a nice sports car on the twisty roads. It also has vinyl rear seats with heavy duty front cloth seats and all rubber floors. Its a 2024.

I love my pro but I really wish I could have picked up one with the SSV package.

2023 Pro SSV in blue or red would be my ideal truck.

Mine is black. Its an amazing difference driving with the ssv package. I have been road racing mustangs for along time so having a great handling truck is fun.

I have a 2024 SSV and this is the first I've heard of the different suspension. I test drove a Flash at dealership "x" and they were a complete junk show of a dealership, so I purchased the SSV at dealership "y" over the interwebs. I didn't drive the SSV before the purchase and it was too long of a time in between for me to notice any suspension differences. That being said, I too love the ride of this truck.

Supposedly the front seat backs have a ballistic/puncture resistant layer, in case the kids get extra rowdy in the back seat. Another cool SSV feature.
