I shared how to do this with someone I thought they were going to share it but since i havent seen it shared yet I will. I figured some of you may be able to use it. i havent used it at all.. but some of you are more knowledgeable than I am and charge a lot more than I do.

As long as your APIM is at 24127 and have the SOBDM, B,C and BECM, PCM updated you can enable these options.

2024 should have this without any updates BUT I havent confirmed this. My truck is fully updated. THese are the options the 25 come with.

In forscan go to the APIM

Paging @bmwhitetx ... Add to the ForScan v2 thread?

I want to check this out this afternoon and see if it's available on my '24 Pro with the small screen. Thanks @Jesse-Infotainment !
I think this may have been enabled in a update at some point for some of us. My Lightning originally had a 0 but has the 6 already. I'll look later today to see if I have the screens.

Looking at 80 other trucks across all years and trims, about half already have the 6. The rest have a 0 or 2. All 25's have 6.

Look to see if you have those screens and if you have a 0, 2, or 6. If no screens and no 6, make the change. If you can confirm this, I will add to post 1.

Also check and report your Sync Version (Settings..General..About Sync). I got 24127 last December.

I’ll have to go look it may just be the E that is required. Not the 6 I will have to look at the sheet again.

Wait, I missed the "E" part! Yes, only 25's have the E.
22-23's have 4 (or rarely a 0)
24's have C (or 8 rarely)
Sorry.

I edited the first post. Only the E is needed. It is the advanced charging options

Sync ver 25094
I have "6C" in that spot. Made a backup and changed to "6E".
Cycled power and went to charge settings. No changes in my charging menu ☹
Changed back to "6C"

You should have it at that version. I enabled it on a 12” lightning

Typically it takes a reset in forscan to make changes show

I was able to enable it on my 24 Flash. Not sure if it’s doing anything though - the global settings didn’t do anything on my saved home location, and the saved global settings revert back to what your screen is showing the next time the truck is started.

Tried it again and performed an APIM reboot in Forscan. Still no enhanced charge settings. Any thoughts? This is more of a curiosity and challenge for me now as it isn't a truly necessary mod.

My 2023 XLT (small screen) has the following at line 7D0-10-4:

0004-0000-41xx

I'm about to do the change...

................................................................................................................

...and now after the change of the "4" to an "E", and then after rebooting the APIM thru Forscan, I still have no enhanced charging screen effect at the charge settings menu on my 12-inch screen.

I also verified that my APIM is on Sync software version 24127, revision 1270.

So, for now, I'll change it back from an "E" to a "4".

Ok. I’ll double check the smaller screen Monday.

Have not tried it yet but I wonder if the other modules you listed may be a problem for 22-23's. While I have APIM 24127 (actually have 25094 ), updates for PCM, BECM and the SOB's showed up a few months ago that I haven't done. Here are my current Strategies (F188):
BECM: RL38-14C197-AD
PCM: NL3A-14C204-BBV
SOBDM: PK48-14F476-AH
SOBDMB: NL38-14H297-CP
SOBDMC: NL38-14G069-AXX
