Well good news and bad news. My oem setting was 0064 so updated it to 0066. Was able to get the screens working but the settings don't seem to stick as someone else mentioned. Deleted my home locations and it reverts to the usual 100% when plugging into AC. I can can update the values, turn the truck off and back on and the settings remain. Get out of the truck and plug back in and it's once again charging at full speed to 100%. Get back in the truck and all the values are reset. oh well, at least it shows the charging rate on the center screen now!

Those are the values I would have tried given that you have a 23 and current setting for PPOUI is version 1.

Maybe only works for 24's and up?

My 2023 XLT (small screen) has the following at line 7D0-10-4:
0004-0000-41xx
...
...and now after the change of the "4" to an "E", and then after rebooting the APIM thru Forscan, I still have no enhanced charging screen effect at the charge settings menu on my 12-inch screen.
If you had a 04, I would try 46 (or 66)

My current thinking based on the spreadsheet info:
Byte 3 - change bit 2 to a one (adds 4)
Byte 4 - change bit 3 to a one (adds 2)

Specifically:
Byte 3 - change 0 to 4 or change 2 to 6 (add 4). If 6, no change.
Byte 4 - change 0 to 2, 4 to 6 (22-23's) . . OR . . change 8 to A, C to E (24's).
There should be no odd values for Byte 4 as bit 4 is undefined.

If you're adventurous, you could go to 6E but I believe that is modding other parameters for 22-23's.

I may try E if I get bored tomorrow but don't see how it could make difference based on the values. I'm guessing it's missing something in one of the charging related modules. I'll have to pester someone to check what I have showing.

...lemme try this. TBC.

......................................................................................

So I tried this change on my 12-screen 2023 XLT. Changed "0004" to "0046".

Rebooted the APIM afterwards.

BLUF: no effect, no change on the charging screen.

I edited the first post. And please understand that the menus may not work because the other modules have to be updated. That is the same thing for anyone that upgrades to the 24 IPC firmware for charging speed. You have to update the modules I noted in teh first post.

EDIT - I am sorry. THis apparently doesnt apply to the 12" yet. I am still learning about EVs. So I am not as knowledgeable about the EV terms and setting yet. SO as of now this only applys to the 15 in Portrait screen. On the 12" if it were available in the Charge settings an advanced tab would show. That would contain the additional settings. Even then the 12" seems to only have a AC setting.

SOrry for the confusion. I should have double checked prior to posting.

Just a quick question about having the modules updated for this...Are all of the extra modules being updated a result of the latest OTA or would it be something that would have to be updated by the dealer?

Thanks Jesse. So at this time, this appears to only work on 24's. @PJnc284 has a 23 fully updated and made the edited change (changed xxx4 to xxx6). His results were mixed. Settings wouldn't hold across charge cycles.

My modules are out of date, so if any other 22-23' Lariats and above want to try, please post here.
APIM 7D0-10-4 xxx*-xxxx-xx change 0 to 2, 4 to 6 (22-23's) . . OR . . change 8 to A, C to E (24's).

I apologize if this is already documented, but what is the 24 IPC firmware update to show charging speed on the instrument cluster?

Dealer or DIY FDRS. I have received all the latest OTAs but these modules were not updated.

Can you ask him to send me his vin..

The 22-23 SHOULD have the exact same firmware as the 24 once updated.

It could be the PCM. 22-23 use a different PCM base part number. 24 and 25 have a new PCM.

Will need to have a 24 that uses their truck more than I do to really test it out.
