For those of you that want to tune into the livestream of the event on August 11, you can register here. I've been told this will be the only place we'll be streaming it from. Had to make sure you had the details, and the other thread has been closed.

EDIT: The stream will be public. Signing up will ping you when it's scheduled.

"Ford President and CEO Jim Farley, other Ford executives, and special guests will be in Kentucky on Aug. 11 to share more about the company's plans to design and assemble breakthrough electric vehicles in America."

While I wish I had more to share this is it for now!

Wish I had more info to share, but all I can confirm is Kentucky.

Here's to hoping someone mirrors it onto YouTube or something, I don't want to sign up for *yet another* list, and IMO this is a terrible move on Ford's part to gatekeep something they deem so important behind data collection... especially when people here are apparently having trouble even signing up!

Brian, tell your boss to tell his boss to tell her boss to tell the top dog that we don't want to have to sign up to stay informed... just put it on the 'Tube!

According to Out-of-Spec Bits video, it's at Louisville Assembly Plant (LAP)...not sure if that helps or not.

That’s what I assume since they are about to shut that plant down to retool soon.

Ya, I won't be signing up. Not.helping their.profiling.and.data scrapping. Not like. they will have a new EV ready to order next week or.anything. Plenty of time to let others analyze and post.about it, IF there is anything truly worthwhile.

Is there a time on Monday the stream is planned for? I also would like to avoid creating additional online accounts when it can be avoided. I’m hoping one of the many EV YouTube channels covers it.

Ford cuts and runs , instead of perfecting and improving what we have in hand now as electric vehicles ( lightning & mach e) they yet entertain another unknown ….. This company needs real leadership and new blood and long strategy and commitment for good customer satisfaction mentality.
