Funny, the listing says that it won't fit my 2024 Lightning ?

That is absolutely what is in my bed. Maybe it won't fit because there's already one installed?

Actually, on closer inspection, the listing is different than what I have. Mine has a deeper rear wall and a square bottom, similar to this one listed for a Maverick:

Must be for newer trucks. My 2022 Lariat doesn't have a spot for that.

Besides, $50 is a lot of money for very little storage space.

I agree. Funny that it was stock on my relatively "bare-bones" Pro and so far seems to only be in 2024's. The coiled recovery strap is about the only practical thing that fits, I just crammed in some other junk on top.

It does fit an old lithium motorcycle battery that I have lying around that is able to be used in any orientation. It fits perfectly if inserted sideways. I am going to use that as a rechargeable 12-volt battery to power some aftermarket bed lights that didn't come in my Pro, but it has cutouts with covers for the lights and switch.

I would take off the cover that you have and get some rough measurements of the space available behind there. My guess is that the listing from @SpaceEVDriver would fit, and the Maverick one that I linked would probably fit too, just verify the measurements first.

Saw this on YouTube, think I'll give it a try. The bins are nice put limited on space, this will help increase the size a little.

The correct part number for the Lighting is: RL3Z-60286A72-AB. This photo shows the stock (delivered) access panel for a 2025 (not sure whether it is a build one or build two) with the stock panel removed and the cubby with the part number listed above installed.

The following photos are what the part looks like from a few different angles. Note that these were pulled from Ebay and may be for the ICE F-150 part, but the two are essentially the same.

I believe this replacement door panel available on Amazon, which provides s crude combination lock, will fit, but I've not tried it yet:

The Bucking Rabbit (the folks in the video in the posts above) shelves will fit the Lightning version, I reached out to them and they verified that.
