If you have matrix lights activated (where portions of the beam focused on a vehicle in front of you turn off) the auto high beam icon on the instrument cluster will be green. If matrix lights are not activated the icon will be white. What color is it on yours?I can confirm this also fixed the bc issue. I’m sure we all figured that it would, but just wanted to post for posterity. Also, the updates that applied must have also turned on adaptive headlamps. I can’t say for sure as I don’t drive a lot at night so perhaps they have been on for some time now. This is just the first I am noticing as I drove a lot at night this weekend and the adaptive lights just worked. I did not enable them in the console, and quite frankly, thought the only way to turn them on was through for scan. It was a nice surprise and they worked well.
The headlights come from the factory with a bending function. The low beam lights (not sure about high beams) will physically move left and right as you turn the wheel so they "bend" around turns.
Matrix headlights are activated from the factory in Canada. They are not in the US. I highly doubt Ford would activate matrix lights in an update because from my understanding they do not conform to US regulations.
