Charge Station List/Type/Cost Database

I have been trying to make up a detailed list of existing charging stations in my state and adjoining states. Perhaps there is such a thing over on MME Forums?

Many websites have maps but little detail including cost per minute or kWh unless you have an account.

Can anyone give me examples in their area or links for my spreadsheet?

Between abetterrouteplanner and plugshare you should be able to get all of this information pretty easily.

I use both PlugShare & Electrify America app on my mobile device to search for EA charging availability.

But I am not finding costs on Plugshare site. Electrify America is a flat $0.43, except for Pass+.

I like https://abetterrouteplanner.com because they are already listing Lightning SR or ER but they are only giving me Electrify America Chargers and if I want more info I have to buy their Premium.

This is not as easy as it sounds.

I use GasBuddy a lot. Guess what I am looking for is something not invented yet; Electric Buddy maybe?

And I am more interested in the ability to get to the next DCFC, how much it will cost, is it broken, how many are there, and other little details I do not want to be surprised by.

Since I cannot find such a resource I am trying to build my own regional model and keep it updated.

PlugShare lists the cost to charge, the number of chargers and gives a rating of 1-10 for reliability. I think this covers most of the items you are looking for. To get the information just click on a particular charger and the information is listed above the comments. Reading the comments also contains useful information. The rating number is in a green square next to the charge station name. It will also list if the station is under repair.

PlugShare data is only as good as what the public put into it. Some DC networks like EA and EVGo do a great job of making sure they are up to date and accurate. I like to use plug share to find chargers but then use the app for the network (ChargePoint, green lots etc) to confirm the price.

I using a apple mac book air an Ipad and an Iphone so that may make a difference but the information is available on all three devices. I don't have a PC so I can't verify that the information is available in that format. It is also avaible on apple car play which is nice so it can be seen on a cars infotainment display.

Only apps that have access to the charger specific network will provide cost/availability. Plugshare does do that for most of the chargers. Electric Coast Highway, an older fast charge system with 50kW Chademo's recently went off the Plugshare network and went to FREE while they work out an alternative.

Accidentally ran down to 5% and needed a charger. Plugshare showed an Electric Highway in a Fred's Supermarket a mile from my friends home. I carry the Chademo and CCS1 adapters for Tesla for just these situations.

Cost is not really an issue when road charging and the fees don't fluctuate like gasoline though they might in states like TX where utilities have "event" pricing. If I pay a little more or a little less than gasoline does't matter, speed and availability rule.l

TN cost per minute won’t last long. It’s a silly way to sell “fuel”. Can I go into a TN bar and drink beer by the minute?

Also the ford pass app is supposed to have this information in it as well. Someone with an mme could share some screenshots or maybe over on the mach-e forum there's more information
