I had a charge station pro finally installed in our new house. Seemed to be work fine but when I look at the charge events I see multiple charge events between .5-2 kWh. Anyone else look like this? Also the Ford Pass App throws out a charge session error. However if I stay with the truck and “watch” it I don’t hear the contact pins disconnect nor does the truck itself throw out any errors. Just the normal “charge complete @ x time” on the dash.

Truck still charges to 80% in record time for me.

1. How long has the charger been installed.

2. What is your hardware charge rate set to?

3. What is your software charge rate set to?

4. What is your Software Version showing as in the FCSP setup app, not in FordPass.

I ask these questions because the FCSP ships with a standard software version. If you charge at 80 amps it tends to fault. There is updated software that needs to download that takes care of it. The software version you need is 2.112.70:2.129:1.12:0.33:0.42.

Your charger needs to be in a good WiFi area and be idle overnight to download the update.

Ohhhh I will update then, I didn’t see a prompt to update to new software when I connected to it.

You can't initiate the software update. It does it on its own.

It looks to me like you have the updated software though. You might have something else going on.

How long does that take? It’s been connected to the internet for awhile.
I edited my post. It looks like you have the updated software.

It updates randomly for everybody. The consensus was that it updates sometime around 3 or 3:30am and has to be unplugged from the truck to work.

The only other thing I can suggest is maybe you have a loose connection at the FCSP or the breaker. You could also try to derate to 64 amps to see if the problem goes away.

I’ll derate and see if that works, if not I’ll call the electrician back. Thanks for the help!
