I will add that I have not had to use the charger since the BMS system unit was replaced.

I would use it again if the truck was going to set for an extended period of time.

I can't find it now but there was a post showing a plug installed in the high voltage receptacle area which was connected to the low voltage battery for trickle charging. I'd like to do this with my Lightning but I don't have specific instructions on how to do this. Can someone whose done this provide me with some guidance. Thanks. Gregg

I replaced my puny H3 battery which has been preventing me from getting updates. I bought an H4 and did some modifications to the tray per the pictures that several others shared (Thank You!). I also decided that I wanted to get a trickle charger/battery tender and decided on the Noco Genius 2D. I wondered why more people didn’t choose the model since I could mount it in the frunk and just plug into the outlets there and turn PPOB when necessary.

While installing the Noco Genius 2D, I installed the lead on the positive terminal first and then went to connect to the negative terminal. I was very surprised when it sparked, quite a bit in fact, until I had the nut tightened all the way. I thought this was odd because this is one of the things that Project Farm tested and both Noco models passed with flying colors (although different model of Genius). The AC side of the Noco was not plugged in. Have any of you experienced this before? I’m a bit concerned and I haven’t yet plugged in the Noco to even test it yet.
