I woke up today to an unplanned and unexpected 100% charge on my '22. I have the default at home and a few other locations set to 90% (work is 95% because its free when I can get a spot) because I don't like to have the truck sit at 100% without a longer trip planned.

The weirdest thing is that it also appears that the driving history has been reset. I'm in Minnesota. With the cold and my driving habits, I would expect 100% to be on the order of 240mi (Cold ER battery) but the reading is currently a sweet July 326mi --That just does not compute for January.

I think its possible that maybe the 100% could be explained by the truck not realizing its at its home location...but it looks like it dumped the driving history too so that wouldn't seem to explain everything. I thought maybe an OTA update could have caused the weirdness here but checking the app, there's nothing recent, not since September.

Anyone run into similar things recently?

I take some data from the truck through home assistant and node-red. I'm going to add location IDs and charge limits to see if I can spot an issue there if it happens again.

Any signs of a software update to the truck on Sync?

That would be the only time I've experienced a fouled up charging scheme, did not happen often but I have experienced it in the past.

My 25โ€™ started to same in various situations. Trying to nail down when it occurs and possible correlation to other events. To stop charging to 100% at times I have go into the app and stop the charge session.

No other oddities noted.

Nope, no new Sync updates that I could see --but I think I figured out part of what happened. I have a tuck under garage and it appears the truck 'thought' it was not home. The address listed there in the snip is my immediate neighbors (townhome, same building). But it was enough I guess to ignore the 'home' settings and charge to 100%.

What it doesn't explain though is why the GOM reverted back to the default driving history. I don't charge it to 100% unless I know I've got a heavy day of travel which is rare. Maybe it took the opportunity to try to calibrate or something by dumping the history since its at 100% and might benefit the battery controller somehow(?) --grasping at straws there.

The address alignment is the reason for the scheme rules to not be in effect when it was charging.

The other issues are unknowns, I assume you refer to 'history' as the trip-1 & 2 logs or the Home Assistant data?

GOM has always reverted to a spring/fall value above 80% SOC

It does this all the time. Ignore the guess o meter. I charged to my usual 85% this morning and it showed a range of 410km, I do not ever get that and my driving yesterday was about 45kwh/100kms.

๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ, Agreed this GOM always gets very optimistic after 80%

Commonly seen for all the the years I've had my 2022 Lightning

Considering this inquiry, I watched this evenings charge session by the percent increase from 78% to 90%, what's a motorcyclist with PMS supposed to do in winter?!? ๐Ÿค“

Here are the samples, I missed 79 & 80%, so the summary analysis below infers some values.

Summary analysis, indicates seasonally adjusted range performance still way above my reality of operation, maybe in the most spartan hyper-miler mode of operation you could get these numbers in southern New England on January 10th 2026. (I did do several off the plug remote starts)

262 miles at 90% implies 291 at 100% which will actually get even more optimistic the higher I charge, presently devalued for the cold season, while in spring/fall it will show higher values.

Yes, my FCSP ignored the 80% limit the other day and went to 100%.

I also had lost communication with it on the FORD app the same day, and I saw it had a white light as if it had been reset, so I flipped the breaker off then on to clear that.

About 48 hours later it was back in the FORD app, but charging data from Jan and Feb 2025 was lost from its memory.

I do not see any difference in the Software or Firmware of the FCSP, but it happened around the time the ProPowerOnBoard was added back to the FORD app.

So that I suspect glitched things.
