I'm trying to install the new BP 7.0 but it keeps failing to download. Can someone confirm my address is correct?

I don't think it's available, there's usually an announcement when a new version drops. Also, shouldn't there be a decimal point between the "7" and the "0" in the URLs?

I grabbed my comma 3x. tried to update to 7. Yeah its not working for me. I`m stuck on the installing screen at 0% this usually means url is incorrect. maybe not live yet?

As of late 2025, comma has dropped support for the Comma3. Below are the recommended branches based on the device you own:
Comma 3 – BluePilot 2.1 (installer.comma.ai/BluePilotDev/bp-2.1)
Comma 3x – BluePilot 7.0 (bit.ly/bp-70)
Comma4 BluePilot 7.0 (bit.ly/bp-70)

I'm having errors downloading from either link. I get a "Incompatible openpilot version." message. When I go to update the openpilot version by installing it, I am unable to locate anything in Openpilot to allow me to install the Custom Software, that option only seems to come up after a factory reset which has the wrong Openpilot version.

I think the simplest explanation is -- somebody jumped the gun. @Ajzride was saying they were shootin for the end of July for 7.0 and even that was iffy based on the state of the repo.

I also figured it was live because the Changelog summary was posted in addition to the above screenshot.

7 isn't out yet, we are just updating docs. Hopefully today or tomorrow. There will ge a release announcement when it is ready.
