I also get the truck alert ding with no message or nothing.
This reminds me of the air incident where Air Canada flight 143 ran out of fuel in 1983 (see the story of the Gimli Glider).

When the 767's second engine flamed out, the cockpit warning system sounded the "all engines out" sound, a sharp "bong" that no one in the cockpit could recall having heard before because training hadn't covered that situation. I believe the voice recorder had one of the crew actually saying, "I've never heard that before!"

I hear them too, haven't figured out wtf it is trying to tell me, no messages to go with it, I wonder if it is telling me the brake is on, press the accelerator to move?

I get these sometimes too, and I always wonder what it means. I thought it has something to do with the forward facing intersection cross traffic alert. It’s like if a car drives in front of me perpendicular sometimes it dings.

I also randomly get navigation turned on going somewhere like my house even though I never used the built-in navigation and it’s random when it happens

I need to look at those settings again, maybe the most recent OTA changed my preferences?????
Earlier this morning I checked that setting inside of Navigation, sure enough, it was on, switched it off with a warning that some enhanced features of Navigation would be disabled. I also hit the CLEAR button to purge any previously stored information.

Ironically, I just watched the Mayday episode on YT on that incident..

For me, the random dings is usually the Ford Navigation in the background. I've since disabled most of the alerts since I use AA/Waze but I have the Ford Navi in the app list to show what street I am on now. Infuriatingly for me, Waze/GMaps both refuse to show the actual road I'm on at the moment most of the time.

Couple days ago, Ford Nav spontaneously started a route which I had never selected, I haven't used a planned route for a few months. I need to look at those settings again, maybe the most recent OTA changed my preferences?????
Must be SkyNet!

After OTA updates, the truck occasionally seems to forget what setting the headlight knob is on. I keep it on auto. It'll still be in that physical position, but I don't think the truck agrees with the knob on the current setting. Cycling it back and forth appears to sync the two back up. With all that said, I'm pretty sure my truck was dinging at me when I started it and turned it off to tell me to turn on or off the headlights. Cycling the knob has fixed the dings more than once in my truck.

Yesterday I noticed that maybe it only ding ding dings the first time I get into the truck on a given day. After I drove 5 minutes to the PO and parked, turned the truck off then came back and turned the truck on, no dings.

Go figure.
