Quick question -> Do have any detailed view/video/documentation which show how to take out the existing wiring harness from bumper and install the new one ? The one i saw on YouTube very clear - F150 Lightning EV Pro/Xlt Adaptive Cruise Control Install. is a great one but lacks enough details for a novice like me :-(. Though kudos to the guy for making it and providing all of us great information,

Thanks for confirming. I figured you did. I'm in the (long) process of adding the ACC/LKA along with the front parking sensors and 360 cameras. I recently learned that to add the front parking sensors on the Lightning you also have to install the 360 cameras. Otherwise I would have just added the front parking sensors.
A bit surprised the cameras are required but I can also see why. Looking forward to hearing how it turns out. I think you’ll really appreciate the cameras though. Don’t think I could drive the truck without them.

Oh yes. Driving without camera in this giant vehicle is very taxing

I don't. That video is probably the best way to get an idea of what is involved.

Essentially, once you get the bumper off you'll need to remove the trim behind it that conceals the the original wire harness. Based on the video you can do so using a trim tool but it's a bit of work. Again, since I didn't want to do that I made my own 4-wire harness and just fished it through the bumper alongside the existing harness and so I didn't have to take that trim piece off and replace the existing harness. In doing so I only had the bumper off long enough to do that and bolt the CCM on, about 10 minutes or so. The downside to this approach is that you need to make your own harness.

Thank-you. Any pointers with regards to how to make harness? And through which path should i run it ?

I think detailed instructions are in the teens-twenties page wise of this thread. You should read the entire thing through from page 1 at least once. Most or all of your questions have been answered already. I even think there is a section that provides details on what size and thread pitch screws to buy in the hardware store if you don't want to buy the $50 CCM bolts.

Good Evening, Im trying to do some prep work on FORSCAN changes for this ..

Does anyone know what potential value change we will have for this Module-

APIM MODULE

7D0-05-01 xx*x xxxx xx-- (0 to 8) ???????

Actual Values (XLT 2023)
[0D16] [0400] [0004]

Also in the Instructions it says -

(Write, let it process, turn truck Off, then back ON) => Does this means..
Keep the FORSCAN plugged in
write the values
Restart Truck => Off/On

A bit confused about what is meant by -> let it process

Any clarifications will be truly appreciated.

Thank you .

APIM changes are just for options on the infotainment system. There is no "let it process" once configs are changed, wrote (less than a second) you reboot the module and it's done.

For your APIM change where it says "0 to 8" and you have a "1", check out the ForScan spreadsheet to see what your "1" currently controls, and what it needs to be changed to activate the adaptive cruise or lane centering properly.
