If they were successive charging sessions I just have to figure out why the truck keeps throwing errors even though it actually was charging when using plug and play.
I don't know why you were getting errors, but it is easy enough to see what is happening in real time. With the truck on (accessory) the charge rate is displayed on the screen. If nothing else, pay attention to the charge percentage. If you start at 50% and 15 minutes later it's at 70% - you were charging.

Alright, lesson learned.
Your not alone with these issues.

Last week I stopped at a Supercharger and opened the Tesla app to initiate the charge. It appeared that it was successful and I plugged in and charging started quickly. I then noticed the Tesla app didn't initiate and had failed for some reason.

I quickly stopped the charging, disconnected and restarted the entire process.

Tesla then worked as normal and I waited to be sure and I finished the charge on Tesla.

Fordpass reported that I had the entire charge amount on my Blue Oval credit card. Also Tesla correctly reported the correct amount I got using their app. It appeared I was double charged. I decided to wait and see what will happen, especially since it was my fault.

It took a couple of days before the Fordpass charging history was updated that the Blue Oval network charge was for only a few kWh and not the full amount.

It is best to relax sometimes and just be thankful for having the truck quickly charged.

I too have a spreadsheet of all my costs.

Unfortunately us 22 and 23's (like the OP has) does not do this. Still a 24 and up feature.
We have to go to FordPass to see charge rate.

Did not know that was a 24 and newer only feature.

1) Not true. It's the same cost as Tesla.
2) Not true, actually impossible. The session you started with Plug & Charge likely also shows, in your confirmation email, that you paid for say 2 kWh. Then, you started a charge with Tesla using their app.

If you believe you were double charged, post both email receipts showing the detail.
It is not the same cost to plug and charge as it is with a Tesla unless you have the subscription.. you get the non-member/non-tesla rate.

A Ford using Ford Plug and Charge pays the same rate as a Ford using the Tesla app, unless they get a membership. No markup by Ford.

Ok, here are my receipts: Note the time of 9:57 and 9:56. I did not start a session with plug and charge. it has never worked, it always give an error. Hence I moved on to the tesla app.
You are right with my math error. the charges are the same per Kwh. I will edit post on that.

If it’s wrong, just file a dispute with your CC and call it a day?

I am/was confident that the tesla receipt indicates the end time of a 15 min session. So you are saying I did 2 successive sessions totaling 41 Kwh. I find that hard to believe given the time I was there and the state of charge going in but I have no proof to argue that. none the less, something is wrong as all I was getting was errors when plugging in with plug and play. I am not going to do that at tesla stations anymore. Works fine at EA stations.

BTW. the ford blue oval customer support says it is very possible to get charged twice if you open up the tesla app while the plug and play button is set in your ford pass account. In my case I didn't think that was going to happen because of all the errors.
Tesla receipts show start time not the finish time
