No.Do you have to be subscribed to connected services to get updates?

Ditto, ditto. Just checked the Ford app. Presumably got it at 1 am today, the scheduled time for auto updates. My truck is currently providing backup power for a several-hour ongoing outage caused by 50 mph winds. Before the power went out for good, it was sporadically off and on again. I threw the garage door open, saw the truck port LEDs green as if it had started automatically transferring power. I heard several ICE backup generators running in the neighborhood. Another major power flicker. The truck port LEDs went out and the house went dark. Didn't wait. Did the old manual unplug/replug charger head and the truck started providing backup power. There is a record in the Ford app under Charge Station, Insights, Transfer of a short transfer today, but its time is 45 minutes before the outage occurred and the wife says no outage occurred then at the listed Ford app time. So, I had the almost perfect opportunity to test the effect of the update on BPT, but I lost the fly ball in the stadium lights!Ditto.

I think it's the time setting in the FCSP itself that is being recorded, I have in the past reconfigured it after the DST transition semi annually, it's a PiA to do that so now I just leave it be with the time value being off by one hour half the year.As they say, "One swallow does not make a summer."
......
Perhaps the 1-hour discrepancy I'm seeing in BPT end times is due to the Ford servers I'm connected to not "springing forward" for Daylight Saving Time?!

Going along with the idea that flickering power wakes the Lightning up and makes it better able to synchronize the transfer with the HIS unit through the FCSP, today we had another outage with a bunch of flickering before the power went out for good. Automatic backup power transfer was then able to start. So, maybe in any power outage preceded by rapidly flickering grid power, I'll get automatic BPT...![]()
