Yes i ran this and installed. It is during the activation stage that it says the device is not found when plugged in. It has you unplug and replug it back in in the end.

I don't want to jinx it, but I'm sitting in the truck with the new Mongoose plugged in and the FIRST thing I am attempting is to update the CCM.
I was holding my breath when the Block erase got to step 4 of 257.

And then there was a 5 6 7.....!!!!!!

Keep us updated. Did you do a PMI first of the CCM module or just go right in for the software update

just called Mongoose support and they confirmed it is a dead device. Sending it back and ordering a new one.

I did not.
I was told by the gurus to just apply the failed update to the purple module.

The update went smooooth as glass and a mongoose network scan (ahhhhh is it nice to safely scan) has CCM

Bastoids keep moving the goal posts. Was suppose to be here couple times. Now between 5 & 8…. My luck it will start pouring out. Oh well.

Received at 5PM CDT - Installed no prob. No time tonight to putz. Tomorrow is another day and hopefully dry.

The next thing I tried I don't know why I thought it wouldn't make a difference.....
I had tried everything to get rid of the DTC in my IPC. Nothing ever worked. I even removed my Forscan edit for ECT/Transmission temps.

So before I unplugged from the truck I ran the PMI against it (I had done so several times with the nano)
It completed and then I ran the self test.

Not only did the DTC clear, but my AB must have had my previous Forscan edit because the PMI returned my temps!

I got a long and distinguished LIST of modules now.

No, mine isn't showing that. Did you get the 2.52 OTA w/GWM update since it looks like you're ready for Bluecruise?

Mine started showing that almost a month ago... After a large round of updates.

No idea, maybe @iceman77 or @Jesse-Infotainment has some thoughts on it. Here's something I find odd with your screen, the BC expiration is 10/9/22 and you just tried to enable it.

Mine has the same date. It's like a placeholder date I believe.
Once the truck is authorized in the cloud it will likely change to reflect the correct expire date.

@Livnitup and team, looking at the software version and strategy for the GWM what do you think of the possibility that the IPMA DTC U2400 is just related to a GWM configuration issue? I only ask because the my current GWM version and strategy is newer than a job2 truck with BC enabled from factory.

Thoughts anyone?

They are different gateways. Can’t really compare them. They are different part numbers and you can’t install a job2 into a job 1 or the other way around

That dtc happens after updates occasionally.
