I just checked the connected services tab and it shows activate and wants me to pay $600 to activate.

Just took a spin, 100% Blue cruise works! Also bed camera at speed and on the side bar works as well with no Forscan modifications.

I’ve got a couple of hours of free time, could anyone benefit from my as-built info to help out? Y’all have helped me so much, what can I do to help y’all?

Dang. That sucks How is your as built data looking.
I believe its fine. On phone with Ford now.... They cannot see any of my OTA history or anything. Connecting me to OTA, again. Ugh.

I really hope I don't need to wait on ford support to get this fixed.
I dont have it under connected services anymore. Been gone for months. Rep confirms I should have it. Asked if they want to buy back the truck. Never seen those screens either. Still on hold.

Ok, so I disconnected both terminals of the battery and let it charge for 20 minutes.

I reattached the terminals and then the charger again.
It completed the update. I validated with FRDS and about a minute later got this :)

Now my connected services show this:

For those of you having activation issues, is your truck connected to home wifi? Mine was and activated almost instantly.

Thats what Ford told me earlier this week as well, can't see anything, OTA said the same and they told me the dealerships had nothing to help yet either

I believe you do. I was running on BC highways today and nothing. Just regular hands free.
I can confirm BC works without the need for formal activation on Fords Connected Services page in Canadian trucks.

For the people that got their Mongoose adapters, what all was in the box when it arrived? Also, when you installed the drivers and activated the device, what type of screen did you get after starting the activation process?

I'm pretty sure that my "new" adapter was a returned used adapter from Amazon. The seal on the box was already cut and half of the sticker is missing. There was the cable, connected to the adapter in the box with no plastic or anything and a card for installation and support in the box. The adapter looks like it was used once (minor scuffs on the USB plug and OBDII end), and the activation screen after installation of the drivers said it was already activated. It seems to be working, but if I did get a used one, I'm going to complain to Amazon and get some money back. I paid for a new one, not a lightly used or refurbished one.
I agree with you. My first MongoosePLus I got was dead on arrival, I could see scratches on the connector. The seal looked "used". So i returned it and got a second Mongoose. This also looked used but it works, and when i tried activating it, it says it was already activated.

Considering how rude the Mongoose support person was I wouldn't be surprised if this is the company's business model... At least it works, the second one at least,
