Fortunately a number of other EV charging companies have done this. It's great when one of the largest sees the light.Yea! Glad to see that I will no longer be "forced" to give E.A. a zero interest loan.
Hopefully this trend will spread.
Yes, but... If you want to take the price advantage of an E.A. membership, you MUST activate with the E.A. app prior to plugging in (or turn off Plug n charge).EA is plug n’ charge for Ford right?
I tried using my $5 credit and went to an EV Go charger on their app map. Turns out it was not one of “their” chargers, so did not get to use the credit. Annoying…I noticed the EvGo placed a $5 temporary charge on my CC Saturday while taking advantage of the free credits, it'll expire shortly.

I assume then if we use plug n’ charge we wouldn’t see the lower off peak rates?Another EA update: they are introducing Time of Use pricing:

Around here, many of the E.A. stations have had time of use pricing.I assume then if we use plug n’ charge we wouldn’t see the lower off peak rates?
Agreed. If you use the app you should get the discount off whatever the current rate is.Around here, many of the E.A. stations have had time of use pricing.
And I see no reason that Plug n Charge would not see whatever the rate is at that time. I have only once charged at E.A. and I had their membership so I had to activate the charge session with their app.
