Enabling charge speed on dash.

Ok. Tried again. Cleared all profiles restarted laptop and forscan. This only happened after doing fdrs updates. There was not a pcm update but I did a generic function module 2 update that kept failing but it triggered a bunch of other modules to update one was the pcm. So who knows. Update. I logged into fdrs and tried the PN of the pcm as forscan asked for and still got the middle finger.

I'm all for updating vehicles, but this data is right there in CarScanner, so if it isn't an easy FORScan update, I see no reason to bother.

Not only that, but it’s in the Ford Pass mobile app also. And at Tesla Superchargers, the Tesla app will tell you also.

I reinstalled the normal forscan twice. Just to be sure. Hopefully the forscan gods will figure it out. I just want to fix my 24hr clock and the phone button on the wheel. lol.

yeah mine isn't giving the requesting data from server message. In other news my charger coupler apparently got too hot and I don't even recall having it plugged in then.

Forskin Beta.. err.. ForSCAN
Ugrade file
24 AB file.
Laptop that has power supply and hibernate disabled.
USB EX adapter.

But It just hit me. I know some cars get upset about the driver door and other quirks. I live in the PNW, where we get rain and cold (and stink bugs) - and my beloved is an ardent woodworker (so the shop is out of bounds)

Can I just confirm I won't screw anything over if I close the driver and passenger doors doing this? Would rather *not*come back to damp seats and critters

Cool Cool. Thanks. That makes me a *lot* happier . It's currently not raining, but it's looking like it might, and if this is going to take 6 hours... I'd like the cab to stay dry if it rains!

Are you going to do a video on it? Been a few requests. Initial set up and any gotchas you run into might be useful for others.

I recall this too..but during the hours-long upgrade, I opened and closed the door (got in and out) many times during the process and no probs.
