Ford Charge Station Pro - "Charge Station Faulted" Errors

Good morning,

I have randomly been getting notifications in the Ford Pass app that "Something went wrong and your charge station can't charge your vehicle." This started on 07/27 and has happened a few times since.

A few notes:
1) The vehicle is not plugged in when this happens.
2) There is an error in the app when looking at the charge station that states "Charge Station Faulted"
3) The breaker did not trip, and there has not been weather to cause a power blip
4) The station itself doesn't show any other signs of an issue, i.e., color changes on the light.
5) When I plug into the truck, it charges as it should without issues.

I thought that maybe it is because I am not charging regularly (carpooling to work with my daughter), but that doesn't make sense either.

Anyone else seen this or have this issue?

On very rare occasion we've seen the Ford cloud burp up stale & erroneous data which showed in older version of FordPass.

Hopefully totally unrelated to your FCSP & trucks charging operation.

I have had this same issue a couple of times - 7/19/25 and 8/2/2025.

Update: The team is aware of a similar issue impacting vehicles and it will be resolved via a software update.

When? Soon™.

Workaround for Persistent Issues Impacting Charging: For ongoing faults, consider deleting the
charging schedule for the location with FCSP in FordPass and/or vehicle HMI and managing charging manually.

I have flagged your "ghost notifications", but as @TaxmanHog mentioned this could be a cloud "burp".

I have seen this recently also - 7/22, 7/25, and 7/26. Some of the messages come late so that aligns with the latent message issue mentioned. No issues with charging. I think this is a software or firmware issue and Ford seems aware of it.
