Exactly! I am honestly not that upset - the $650 credit seems reasonable, but I do wonder what the payload screen will show for all of the trucks that had the scales deleted.

@Ford Motor Company - please fix the ability to accept a Microsoft Teams call through the system on Android Auto. Having to grab my phone is not safe and I was able to do this through my Kenwood aftermarket unit in my old F150 that was 5 years old.

In the phone settings screen , they have removed the words and left just icons which I prefer since I know what the icons do but might be confusing for the new owner .
The digital owners manual is vastly improved . The game is a game . I also found a setting to upload insurance related data , but I’m not sure if that was available before . Also , anyone else always keep their truck in dark mode ?

At least it appear that OTAs are coming much faster for the Lightning than for the Mach-e. Took about 7 months for us to get our first OTA.

I got 3.1 yesterday also, XLT 12" screen. I wonder if the screen size and/or sync 4 vs 4a affect which update you get...

Don't' think so - mine is 15" sync 4a.

I think it might be a east coast rollout and eventually rolling out later to the west coast ?

Ford servers are probably taxed already with all the MME updates that are still pending.

I mean…dual phone is a useful feature. You could say it should have had it at launch but with their new software focused team they may have been OK with not having it at launch because they knew it would be an early update.

I just got the 3.1 update yesterday as well.

I went in the settings to check for another update this morning and there was nothing.

This is good news, one of the very few things I'm worried about is the software side of our trucks, less fragmentation the better.
Ford is inevitably going to struggle building solid, highly functional software systems but I'm confidant they will get there.
Our gen 1s might be left out though

The insurance related data button was there before. From your screenshots I see you've activated Alexa (cause the icon is gone).

I haven't activated Alexa but the button got smaller after the update happened:

Before I did the update this morning I checked FDRS and there was no update listed for the APIM. In fact no updates listed for any modules.

So I'm thinking they must have updated some of the specific data packages, or just the configuration of the APIM but left the base software version the same (MU5T-14G676-HB).
