Saw some really well done ads for EVs from other companies during the NFL playoff games, and then a Ford F150 commercial showing the lightning model for about 2 seconds.... A really cool commercial dedicated to the lightning during NFL games would be great for Ford, but what do I know

I'm not a FORD representative, only listening to the same rumor mills others are .... if something is coming with an implementation date then why not hold off until the witching hour has struck?

My SolarEdge backup interface already accepts that circuit. It needs a firmware update to turn on that feature.

As a future lightning owner, and current SolarEdge backup interface owner, can you clarify? I'm assuming you're talking using the pro-power onboard 30A circuit in the bed, rather than the ford charge station pro. But beyond that, isn't it just a matter of wiring into the generator input on the backup interface? What firmware update is needed? (And considering SolarEdge has been bragging about that feature since long before I installed my system 2 years ago, please don't tell me SolarEdge doesn't actually support it "yet" (If they don't now, I have to assume they never will)!)
