I currently have a charging schedule programmed into the truck to charge during certain times to 85%.

When I want to charge outside the schedule, I click the charge button in the app. The app then charges the truck to 100%. If I try to adjust the target limit using the slider to 85%, the charging stops.

Any ideas on things to try to be able to charge outside of my schedule to something other than 100%?
Have you tried editing the "Target Charge" value under energy?
ie. change the value from your default 85% to a higher value say .... 90% or 95%, remember to click the "Save" button and wait for it to post, might take 30-60 seconds, it should start charging to the revised value assuming you are already plugged in.

You can also edit the time frames from your prefered TOU schedule to another time frame if you want it to act immediately.

FordPass version 5.28.0 on both Android and iOS. Charging at my saved home location. Home location is set for a target charge to 85% and charge time of 2100 - 1600. For $$ reasons, I wanted to charge this one time to 75% rather than 85%. Plugged in at about 1950 and it correctly said waiting for charge at 2100. Using FordPass on my Android, if I slide the slider on the energy tab to 75%, as soon as I release my finger, it immediately changes to 70%. Upon a little more testing, no matter where I set the slider, as soon as release my finger, it drops to the next lower 10% increment (40, 50, 60. 70%). The only exception is if I try to set limits above 85%, it drops to 5% increments (85, 90, 95%). The iPhone is a little different in that the slider does not even give the options of the in between values - i.e. it jumps from 40 to 50 to 60 to 70 to 80%. I did not go out to the truck to see if I could set 75% on the Charging screen because it's raining and I did not feel like going outside...

I don't ever remember this behavior before. Anyone else to confirm this? Note, this is not a huge deal, just an unexpected change....

I've brought this very topic up in another thread. I want to be able to charge to 75 percent but the stupid app won't let us. I typically charge to 70 percent on the weekdays and 85 on the weekends because I do the bulk of my traveling on the weekends.

75 percent would be a sweet spot for me, but for Ford, 5 percent increments make too much sense, lol.

Thanks Taxman. I’m going to try the target charge adjustment and report back.
Deleting and re-entering the schedule is the least ideal work around. Adjusting Target Charge will be easier, if I can get it to work.

The target charge adjustment did not work for me. The truck would not start the charge off schedule even after adjusting the target charge.

But, I did find a workaround that is better than setting an alarm clock or reprogramming the schedule.

1. I plug in my truck off schedule.
2. In the truck, I set One-time Max Charge Limit to the limit I want to charge to. 85%
3. I toggle the Charging Locations button off.
4. The truck starts charging to the One-time Max Charge Limit.
5. Tie a ribbon to my finger so that after unplugging so I remember to toggle Charging Locations button back on. Schedule is saved and I don’t have to reprogram the schedule.
