No reason you can't.

If your goal is to heat the garage, this will work fine. If you are trying to keep the garage heated to protect the battery or avoid range reduction, best to just leave it alone and left the truck take care of itself

If the garage has electricity, plug it in to shore power, not the truck.

It's a 7500 Watt heater, with a 6250 Watt low setting. It should work on the low setting only and probably will trip the truck's breaker on the 7500 Watt setting. As long as the heater does not default to the high setting every time you restart it, it should work. You'll be reducing your truck's range about ~15 mph of heater use.

Also, this is one of those things best used with short, heavy-duty extension cords (30 Amp Low setting), or none at all.

Does not have electricity in the garage. I would like to to use his power with extension cords from his house for some heat. I use it for a couple hours

thinking something like this just not sure the truck can power it

It looks like it could work. It looks like maximum draw is 7500 watts, which 31 amps. As long as you did not turn it up to the maximum output. You would have no power leftover for other uses.

I've heated up my semi-insulated attached garage with my Model S cabin heater on occasion. Turn it on full blast and open the car up. With the cabin heater being 6kw, it's not long before the garage is relatively comfortable - and I have a two bay garage. For a one bay you'd be comfy in no time.

7500 watts, /240v = ~31 amps, you would be exceeding the capacity of the 240 volt bed inverter, but the heaters MODE BUTTON has a low/full power setting.

There you have it, 6250W mode would do the trick!!!
6250w / 240v = 26amps

That’s a great idea. Eliminates both the need to buy a separate heater and incur inverter losses!
