Just a shot in the dark but are you connecting wirelessly? A forum member previously indicated that only wired connections showed directions in the IPC for them. Not sure why that would matter.

And you are using CarPlay correct? Android auto has worked for a long time.

Does your walk away lock also work?

did you ever have the dealer do the carplay?

Anyone know how to turn this off (directions in the dash instrument cluster screen behind the steering wheel)? This just showed up for me and I'm not a fan, but can't figure out how to get it to stop. 2023 XLT with iPhone and Google Maps. Thanks

If your truck is like mine, just wait a while and it will stop working as it should, then you wont be annoyed anymore.

I think I have figured out how to "jump start" or fix this issue.
I am not sure how, but one of my 2 iphones suddenly started working, so I knew it wasn't a truck issue holding me back.
I connected to carplay with the other phone and began to try and figure it out.

While in google maps on the screen, I changed one of the settings (completely un-related to anything having to do with this feature), but it seemed to trigger something in the code, and now the dash display is working every time. In my case I went into settings (cog wheel) -> route options -> (toggle) saving energy.

For reference both phones have the latest iOS and Google map versions. Both phones now work on the dash display even in wireless CarPlay mode.

That does make sense, because when it wasn't working for me, on the iPhone I would no longer see "my vehicle" selected as an EV, whereas before I did. So by selecting Saving Energy, you're toggling the EV feature(s). Perhaps.

You are my hero!!! That worked. Immediately when I toggled that option it showed up. Even after toggling it back off it stayed there, which is super awesome.

Rebooting didn’t work but I got an update to my Truck that came OTA and now Google Maps is working again!
