Had a really good experience with Ford Mobile Service today. The technican, Delilah, showed up on time to do a software update for the parking brake recall. She was fast, friendly and efficient. She had actually been scheduled for my F150 Lightning for today, but she noticed that my Mach E was in the garage and asked if I had done the recall for it too. When I told her that it was not available for my 24 model year yet at the time of scheduling the current appointment, she asked if it was OK to look it up. It was available AND she did it then and there knowing it would both make me happier and be more efficient than a 2nd appointment.
She was knowledgeable, friendly and mild mannered, plus went beyond the task. These are things often missed at many dealerships, but this dealership often hits the mark. I also always have positive experiences with the two Service Advisors that I have contact with, Troy and Angilina.
This dealership seems to be getting it right!

Anybody ever asked the mobile update tech to do a FORscan tweak? I was thinking I'd ask the tech who's coming tomorrow for the tow module update to tweak my 2023 so I can have PPOB when the truck is off.

Forscan is NOT an official diagnostic/tuning tool for Ford technicians to use on "official time"

OK, but could they tweak it then with their FRDS (or whatever programming system they are bringing to the truck) 'unofficially?'

I'm not certain.

I glanced at the tools she was using. It was a laptop and ODB 2 type dongle with a cord directly to a USB C port. I thought about probing a bit and asking what other 'cool' things that she could do with those, but I thought I would be better off not.
Maybe if they send the same tech next visit I will ask, since we will be a little more familiar.
Either way, I really thought that the whole experience was great.
